Our History
Human Network International is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, DC. HNI was co-founded by two brothers, David and Andrew McAfee, who sought ways of working at the intersection between International Development and Information and Communication Technology. David has worked in development for over eighteen years, first as a Peace Corps volunteer and then as a country and regional manager for PSI. Over the same time, Andrew has been a scholar of technology's impact, first at Harvard Business School and then at MIT.
